The Guinean government decided to bless the crew by having a farewell event. The event consisted of some amazing performances from various places (i.e. a woman's band, acrobatic display, boy band/dance troop, etc.), and awards given to the leadership. Both Dad and Mum received an award which was really cool. Watching the performances almost felt like an episode of Britain's (or America's) Got Talent, except every act was amazing!
I sat next to Jordan, Edvin and Nick (& Suzanne) so the evening was full of laughter and joy (and super glue...)
